Responsibilities Peraton is seeking a Part-Time LInX Carolinas Regional Project Coordinator to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position is in North Carolina or South Carolina as a Statewide Telecommuter with occasional travel to other areas as required. Travel up to 25%. The position is part time and requires 25 hours per week. The qualified applicant will join our team of experienced, motivated individuals in support of the Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) Law Enforcement Information Exchange (LInX) Program and provide Project Management Support for the DoD LInX system. Roles and Responsibilities: Support NCIS goals and objectives through outreach to Carolinas Law Enforcement agencies Provide support for the LInX Carolinas Board of Governance Executive and Technical meetings Report weekly status to the NCIS LInX PMO and Peraton LInX Program Manager Provide training support to member agencies Qualifications Basic Qualifications: Bachelors degree with 8 years of experience or a Masters degree with 6 years of experience or a high school diploma/equivalent and 12 years of experience. U.S. Citizenship required; must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance. Project management or project coordinator experience. Excellent interpersonal communication skills: ability to interact with varying levels of DoD, Federal, State and Local Law Enforcement agencies and to train users and train the trainers Ability to manage and prioritize a wide-ranging variety of requests from DoD, Federal, State and Local agency system users Preferred Qualifications: Highly desirable that the candidate have prior experience as a police officer, detective, agent or crime analyst who have been involved in or supported the investigative process Highly desirable that the candidate have prior civilian or military Law Enforcement experience Highly desirable that the candidate be familiar with State, County and Local enforcement organization structure and associated doctrines Highly desirable to have previous experience with LInX and other law enforcement automated information sharing systems Peraton Overview Peraton is a next-generation national security company that drives missions of consequence spanning the globe and extending to the farthest reaches of the galaxy. Target Salary Range $86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
