Program Overview About The Role We are looking to add Front End Developer to our team of talented professionals. The VA Million Veterans Program (MVP) is a national research and development program to study how the genes of Veterans receiving care at VA Healthcare System affect their health. In support of this program, Peraton develops Veteran-facing web applications that are mobile-accessible for the VA as a Software as a Service (SaaS) solution. The VA MVP program includes the world's largest medical databases for safely collecting blood samples and health information from over one million Veteran volunteers nationwide. What you'll do: • Plans, directs, and coordinates all activities associated with creating software across multiple functional areas and products. • Prioritizes and allocates projects, products, and resources with the assistance of architects and managers. • Participates in the strategic decisions about technology, definition, and implementation of the software products. • Makes employment decisions, such as hiring, rewarding. • Plan, direct, and coordinate activities of a multi-team or cross-functional organization. • Directs software development projects to include, ensuring that projects are completed on time and according to quality standards, facilitating communication upward and across project team including project status, justifications for variances and technical information. • Organizes projects through development of a project plan which includes communication of product goals as defined by top management, definition of project strategy, identification of the roles and responsibilities of key project groups, development of a schedule with key milestones, identification of risks, contingency plans, and allocation of project resources. • Monitors technology trends such as emerging standards for new technology opportunities. Qualifications Basic Qualifications: • Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhD • Expert in HTML, CSS, SASS, JS • Experience with Content Management Systems required, Drupal preferred • Working knowledge of USWDS design system, tailwind framework • Must be able to obtain/maintain a Public Trust clearance. • US Citizenship or Green Card holder SCA / Union / Intern Rate or Range Details Target Salary Range: $80,000 - $128,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
