This position develops and executes test cases, identifying and reporting defects, and ensuring software meets quality standards. Key responsibilities include writing test plans, documenting bugs with clear steps for reproduction, and collaborating with developers and other teams to verify fixes. This position requires a high attention to detail, strong communication skills, and often involves learning and using testing tools and methodologies like Agile/Scrum. Key Responsibilities • Perform various tests, including functional, regression, and integration, to identify defects. • Document bugs found during testing in a bug-tracking system (e.g., Jira) and provide clear steps to reproduce them. • Write, maintain, and update test cases and test scripts. • Work closely with developers, product managers, and other team members to understand requirements and verify bug fixes. • Contribute to creating test plans, test cases, and other software documentation. • Assist in identifying opportunities to enhance the QA process and potentially automate testing.
