Qualifications: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, or related fields; familiarity with CRM software and knowledge of lead generation processes is preferred. Location: This position is remote, based in the United States. Compensation: Not provided by employer. Typical compensation ranges for this position are between $15 - $20. Position: Events & Business Development Support Intern Reports to: Director, Sales Training & Enablement Office: Remote SUMMARY The Events and Business Development Support Intern supports our Corporate Engagement and Enterprise Sales work who foster deep and meaningful connections with Fortune 500 companies to innovative startups, to build a robust talent pipeline for now and the future. We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive person to assist with data entry and coordination for our sales team, manage and facilitate corporate events, and conduct market, company, and individual research to support our business development initiatives. This role will support sales enablement with LMS administration and coordination of enablement tech and tools. This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in gaining hands-on experience in sales operations, event management, and business development. • * This is an unpaid internship that must be tied to obtaining course credits** KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Data Entry and Coordination: • Assist the sales team with accurate and timely data entry into CRM systems. • Maintain and update sales records, ensuring data integrity and consistency. • Support the preparation of sales reports and analytics. Events Management and Facilitation: • Coordinate logistics for corporate events, including scheduling, online venue arrangements, and attendee communications. • Assist in the planning and execution of events, ensuring smooth operations and a positive experience for all participants. • Facilitate virtual events by managing registrations, materials, and follow-up activities. Market, Company, and Individual Research: • Conduct research on market trends, potential clients, and industry developments to support business development efforts. • Gather and analyze data on companies and individuals to identify potential business opportunities. • Prepare research reports and presentations for the wider Revenue team including Sales, and Development. Qualifications: • Ability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field. • Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Strong research and analytical skills. • Enthusiastic, proactive, and eager to learn. Preferred but not required • Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) is a plus. • Experience and knowledge of business-to-business lead generation, sales processes, and account management. #LI-REMOTE This is an unpaid position.
