About Peppermint Peppermint is building a food-data platform for health and wellness: we capture grocery purchase signals (loyalty account linking + receipts), normalize them into structured nutrition data, and deliver coach-ready insights + APIs into platforms used by dietitians, health coaches, and wellness programs. The thesis: nutrition behavior change won’t scale through manual food logging. We make it passive, longitudinal, and useful for real interventions. Stage / What’s real today This is not a “concept” role. • Working data capture pipeline (account linking + receipt ingestion) • Normalization + product mapping foundations in place • Early partner conversations and pilot paths identified The Role You are the Product + Go-To-Market cofounder (equity-only, no salary until funding). You’ll drive the entire front half of the company: what we build, who we sell to, how we package it, and how we turn pilots into a repeatable motion. You will own: • ICP + positioning + messaging (clear, sharp, differentiated) • Customer discovery and converting conversations into signed pilots • Product roadmap and ruthless prioritization tied to revenue • Packaging/pricing, onboarding, and early retention loops • Partnerships (health/wellness platforms, coaches, programs, payers—wherever the wedge wins) • Fundraising narrative with the founder (if/when we choose to raise) What I’m looking for • Proven Product/GTM instincts in healthtech / wellness / B2B2C / SaaS • Comfortable selling early: cold outreach, discovery, objection handling, closing • Strong taste for product: knows what not to build • High velocity + low ego: you ship, you learn, you iterate • Optional but strong plus: experience with provider workflows (dietitians/coaches), payer programs, GLP-1 ecosystems, women's health, or behavior change products What you get • True cofounder seat: equity + decision-making + ownership • A technical founder who ships (backend + data + AI systems already underway) • A mission with real pull: food-as-medicine, metabolic health, and scalable behavior change The founding team Lucas Czekaj - 5 years at Instacart where he built Instacart Health, shipped partnerships with Kaiser Permanente and Medicare, and earned 5 patents in ML/AI. 17 years in software engineering.
