Position: Director – OEM Fleet Management Services, Penske Vehicle Services Location: Troy, MI Reports To: President & CEO Role Overview: The Director – OEM Fleet Management Services leads the fleet management business unit, overseeing five Facility Operations Managers, 250+ associates, and approximately seven client accounts. This role carries full P&L responsibility and manages services for large automotive fleet owners, primarily automotive companies. Key services include fleet vehicle maintenance, upfit, painting, proprietary software management, and vehicle title and registration. Operations span multiple customer dedicated facilities, covering OEM marketing, engineering, and employee fleets. Key Responsibilities: • Oversee all assigned accounts and facilities, ensuring optimal performance and strong client relationships. • Uphold integrity, professionalism, and sound judgment in all business dealings. • Communicate effectively and maintain relationships with senior client decision-makers, understanding their objectives and delivering value. • Foster a culture of teamwork, collaboration, continuous improvement, and customer service. • Develop operational KPIs in partnership with Facility Operations Managers. • Present annual business strategy, operational plans, and budgets to the CEO, with direct profit and loss accountability. • Drive account growth through strategic planning and budgeting. • Collaborate with other departments to achieve company goals. • Engage with company’s retail software staff regarding proprietary SaaS solutions, as needed. • Travel up to 10% monthly to facility operations locations. Qualifications: • High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred. • Minimum seven years of relevant operational and customer service experience. • Strong administrative and management skills. • Proven ability to recruit, train, and motivate staff for departmental success. Additional Duties: • Assume other responsibilities as assigned. • Ensure clarity of roles, responsibilities, and accountability for all direct reports.
