We are seeking an entry-level Marketing Technology Consultant to join our team and specialize in implementing our proprietary "Destinations" solution. This role involves deploying complex HIPAA-compliant server-side tagging infrastructure leveraging Google Tag Manager and various advertising platforms. You'll work directly with healthcare marketers to configure solutions that allow them to use best-in-class digital marketing platforms in a HIPAA-compliant manner. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or career-changer to gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge marketing technology while working with enterprise clients across the healthcare industry. This role provides a foundation for advancement into Lead Consultant positions or specialized expertise in marketing technology platforms. Successful consultants often progress to lead larger implementations, develop new solution offerings, or transition into client-facing account management roles. This is an onsite role located at our Milwaukee, WI Headquarters. In-person presence is critical during onboarding, training, and ongoing collaboration, which are key to success in this position. After a successful ramp-up period and demonstrated independence in the role, there may be the possibility of working from home 1–2 days per week. However, this flexibility is not guaranteed and should be considered secondary to the expectation of regular in-office work. What You Will Do • Implement tagging solutions using Google Tag Manager • Configure Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Cloud Run services for client environments • Set up integrations and data streaming APIs • Deploy and configure advertising platform integrations (Google Ads, Campaign Manager 360, Meta) • Create and manage OAuth authentication flows and service accounts • Perform domain verification and SSL certificate management • Troubleshoot technical implementation issues and coordinate with client IT teams • Document implementation processes and maintain project tracking systems • Participate in client calls to provide technical guidance and status updates What We Look For • Technical curiosity - Enthusiasm for learning complex technical systems and staying current with marketing technology trends • Problem-solving mindset - Ability to troubleshoot multi-platform integrations and think systematically about data flow • Client communication skills - Comfort explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders • Attention to detail - Precision in configuration management and documentation, as small errors can impact data collection • Adaptability - Flexibility to work with different client environments and technical constraints • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field • Digital marketing experience - Previous work with Google Analytics, Google Ads, or marketing automation platforms • Salesforce familiarity - Any Salesforce experience (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Data Cloud, Marketing Cloud) • Technical aptitude - Comfortable learning new software platforms and troubleshooting technical issues • API experience - Previous work with REST APIs, webhooks, or data integrations • Data analysis background - SQL, SOQL, Excel/Sheets proficiency, or data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, Looker, etc.) $55,000 - $90,000 a year At Penrod, we believe in supporting our team members both professionally and personally.
