Reporting directly to the Director of Creative Content, this role is responsible for developing and executing social media content strategies, managing publishing calendars, engaging with audiences, and tracking performance across multiple social media platforms. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives on both strategy and execution - bringing fresh ideas, creative storytelling, and data-driven insights to strengthen our brand presence and community engagement. This is not intended to be an all-inclusive list of job duties, and the position will perform other duties as assigned. • Partner with the Director of Creative Content to implement overall strategy and campaign objectives. • Develop and communicate the overall social media strategy aligned with organizational goals. • Foster collaboration between content, design, video, and analytics roles. • Guide team to ensure all posts, graphics, and videos align with brand voice, values, and standards. • Manage and guide a team that is committed to achieving results. Build and maintain a high-performance culture through effective employee development and timely performance management; provide ongoing coaching and leadership to achieve desired results. • Review and approve content before publishing, balancing creativity with compliance. • Manage daily posting, scheduling and monitoring across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube). • Create and curate engaging, brand-aligned content. • Maintain and update a social media content calendar in alignment with larger marketing and communication priorities. • Actively monitor conversations and foster community engagement. • Track, analyze, and report on social media performance metrics; make recommendations for optimization. • Collaborate across internal teams and stakeholders to support campaigns and initiatives. • Stay up to date with platform trends, algorithm changes, and emerging best practices. • Lead testing strategy of new tools, platforms, and strategies. • This role is responsible for ensuring business continuity.* Qualifications Equivalent combination of education and experience is considered. • Bachelor's Degree required in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Journalism, or related field is required. • Minimum 8 years of progressively responsible experience in social media management, digital marketing, or a related field. • Minimum 3 years of Supervisory experience, required. • Strong written communication, copywriting, and editing skills with excellent grammar and spelling. • Familiarity with major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, etc.). • Deep knowledge of social media measurement tools, practices, and strategies. • Keen understanding of industry best practices, solutions, and providers to aid in audience expansion and social community development. • Extreme ability to organize multiple workflows while remaining flexible to adapt to Ad-Hoc needs • Experience with paid social media campaigns and ad management. • Knowledge of SEO, digital storytelling, and influencer marketing (and management). Supervisory Responsibility This position will supervise employees. Licenses and Certifications No additional licenses or certifications required. Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to an indoor office setting with moderate noise. • Most roles require working in an office setting with moderate noise and the ability to lift 25 pounds.* Travel Ability to travel to various worksites and be on-call may be required.
