JOB TITLE: Plant Manager REPORTS TO: VP of Operations JOB SUMMARY: The Plant Manager is responsible for overseeing the Warehouse facility. RESPONSIBILITIES: · Oversee employees and ensure customer demands are being met · Responsible for processing timecards, while ensuring accuracy in a timely manner · Work closely with the VP of Operations to ensure that Warehouse expectations are being met · Set performance expectations for Warehouse personnel · Enforce operational policies and procedures for efficient operations · Enhance processes and Best Practices · Manage day-to-day operations, overseeing the production team and department · Upload health and safety guidelines and enforce compliance · Monitors employee and team performance, offering coaching, training and feedback for improvement · Collaborate cross-departmentally to align production with organizational objectives · Collaborate with quality to ensure Best Practices for products/services and monitor production KPIs · Enhance customer service, OTD, quality and satisfaction · Optimize workflows and processes for efficiency · Monitor manufacturing processes to ensure high-quality products · Report on operations efficiency and quality standards · Foster innovation and productivity through effective communication · Maintain service operations to ensure sustainability QUALIFICATIONS: · Previous experience working in a steel environment preferred · Ability to read and interpret documents, including but not limited to; safety rules, operating procedures, maintenance instructions and manuals · Ability to work individually, as well as in a team setting · Previous experience in a Supervisory role EDUCATION: · High school diploma SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES: · Proficiency in Microsoft Office · Strong written and verbal communication skills · High-level of safety awareness and precautions · Ability to meet workload demands and timeframes · Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
