Required Hours/Week: 40hrs./Week Notes: • Experience working in PowerON Development is Mandatory Job Overview: • The Programmer role is responsible for providing business application support and business applications used by the various credit union divisions. • The position performs all aspects of applications programming, analysis, and development of system specifications to meet user needs. Duties and Responsibilities: • Application Development: Design, develop, and maintain applications specifically in PowerOn to automate Symitar postings and integrate with the Symitar core and third-party applications. • Data Management: Create and manage jobs that generate and process data files to and from the core system. • Customization & Integration: Modify existing application software using Symitar's customization tools and implement approved changes for end users and management. • Testing & Quality Assurance: Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and interoperability of software through rigorous testing and user acceptance testing (UAT). • Troubleshooting & Support: Address user-submitted issues, debug programs, and provide training and support for software products. • Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with business partners and stakeholders to understand and define requirements for new software applications or enhancements. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: • Programming (PowerOn), HTML, Java Script, etc. • Proficiency in PowerOn or strong aptitude in ASP.NET, HTML/CSS, Java, JavaScript, JSON, and XML • Hands-on experience with SQL databases, Adobe Acrobat Pro DC, and Microsoft Office tools • Strong understanding of APIs (REST/SOAP), data security, and system integrations • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills • Knowledge of agile development practices • Azure DevOps experience a plus
