About the Role: The Senior Quality Control Inspector is responsible for ensuring that products meet established quality and reliability standards throughout the production process. This role involves testing, inspecting, documenting, and analyzing products, while recommending improvements to management. You will play a key role in maintaining high-quality standards, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and mentoring production team members. Key Responsibilities: • Inspect products at various stages of production to identify defects and ensure compliance with customer specifications • Conduct in-depth examinations of interior, exterior, hardware, packaging, text, and design elements • Perform product testing and evaluate testing procedures, making improvements as needed • Record defects, provide clear repair instructions, and recommend corrective actions • Apply statistical quality control procedures to test data and prepare reports • Reroute defective products to appropriate teams for correction • Collaborate with other departments to resolve quality issues and improve processes • Conduct root cause analysis to identify sources of defects • Mentor and guide production team members in quality control processes • Recommend improvements to production methods, equipment, and overall product quality • Support and manage company quality business systems • Ensure all products meet quality specifications and standards • Perform additional duties as assigned Qualifications: • Bachelor's Degree in a related field • 4+ years of experience in quality control or equivalent education and experience • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Outlook, and internet applications • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills • Excellent verbal and written communication, including reporting and data analysis • Solid understanding of mathematical concepts relevant to quality control • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment • Ability to influence peers and management effectively • Willingness to travel locally, nationally, or internationally as needed • Self-motivated with strong attention to detail and deadlines • Flexibility to work overtime when necessary Physical Requirements / Work Environment: • Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, and communicate effectively • Occasionally lift or move up to 10 pounds • Specific vision requirements: close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment • Exposure to wet/humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, fumes, extreme temperatures, electrical risk, and chemicals • Typical noise level: low to moderate Benefits PEAK's benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, Flexible Spending Account (FSA), Dependent Care Savings Account (DCA), and 401K plan.
