Peak Performers has partnered with a Texas State Agency to assist in their search for a Sr. Project Manager. In this contract position, you will work with the program and IT teams to implement Budget Planning Tool project activities. Major Duties • Facilitate meetings with stakeholders and project teams • Manage project milestones, deliverables, and change requests • Monitor and address project risks and issues • Track and maintain the project budget • Oversee and control project scope • Prepare and complete required reporting to ensure successful delivery on time and under budget What are we looking for? • Bachelors Degree • 10+ years of experience managing projects with implementations across large organizations. • 10+ years of experience overseeing the development of SDLC artifacts, ensuing business requirements get translated into technical specifications • Experience developing and maintaining strong relationships with multiple project sponsors and stakeholders • Agile methodology experience • Texas State Agency experience preferred • PMP certification required About This Position • W2 Contract • Rate: $100/hour • Contract Length: 1 year • Hybrid in Austin, TX The Peak Performers difference • Excellent medical health, dental & vision insurance at 60 days • Our employees may choose to participate in a 403(b) retirement plan • Qualified applicants with chronic medical conditions and/or disabilities receive priority placement • We pay weekly through direct deposit • In business since 1994 and thousands of job placements All employment offers are contingent on the successful completion of a pre-employment criminal background check, in compliance with all applicable federal and state laws.
