Peak is seeking an experienced Merchandising Team Lead to join our dynamic team for an upcoming 6-month project within the convenience store industry. The ideal candidate will have 3 or more years of experience in merchandising and product resets, with a proven ability to lead and execute detailed plan-o-gram implementations. Must Reside in Houston, TX! Job Summary: As a Merchandising Team Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring that all store resets and merchandising activities are completed accurately, efficiently, and according to plan. This includes tagging, moving, arranging, and stocking existing in-store products on shelves, in bins, coolers, and other designated areas. Key Responsibilities: • Utilize Plan-O-Grams (POGs) to complete product merchandising and store resets. • Lead team members in executing in-store merchandising tasks and ensuring quality standards. • Tag, move, and rearrange existing store products as needed. • Maintain excellent communication and organization throughout each project. • Submit reports through a smartphone device. • Travel as required, including overnight hotel stays, potential weekend work, and occasional out-of-state assignments. • Follow all company and client safety and merchandising standards. • Demonstrate the ability to work quickly and efficiently to meet a two-convenience-store-per-day schedule for center store resets. Qualifications: • Minimum 3 years of experience in merchandising and/or resets (convenience store experience preferred). • Must be 18 years or older. • Possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills. • Own a smartphone (for reporting). • Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, stoop, reach, and lift light to moderate weights as required. • Comfortable working in cooler environments during beverage resets. Compensation & Benefits: • $21.00/hour, based on experience. • $40.00 daily per diem while traveling. • Company-provided hotels during travel assignments. • Opportunity for continued employment after project completion based on performance and company needs.
