Peak Partners has a regional healthcare payer client seeking to hire a Cyber Security Systems Analyst who can help administer, program, maintain, implement, and support various departmental and enterprise-wide platforms with optimal security solutions in mind. The role involves configuring security tools, monitoring systems, and evaluating security needs to protect information. Responsibilities • Configure security tools including virus software, IPS/IDS, password protectors, and vulnerability management software • Monitor systems and evaluate identified needs and use applicable tools to protect information • Report on the activities and vulnerabilities • Maintain the disaster recovery posture of the department and interact with corporate and enterprise Disaster Recovery and business continuity efforts • Evaluate Weaknesses and test all company networks to detect bad actors or external threats • Experience with monitoring and working within Cloud environments, (Azure or AWS) and experience using associated cloud tools such as Microsoft Defender, Sentinel and IAM screening tools Skills • Experience with configuring security tools including virus software, IPS/IDS, password protectors, and vulnerability management software • Ability to monitor systems and evaluate identified needs and use applicable tools to protect information • Experience in reporting on the activities and vulnerabilities • Ability to maintain the disaster recovery posture of the department and interact with corporate and enterprise Disaster Recovery and business continuity efforts • Experience in evaluating weaknesses and testing all company networks to detect bad actors or external threats • Experience with monitoring and working within Cloud environments, (Azure or AWS) and experience using associated cloud tools such as Microsoft Defender, Sentinel and IAM screening tools • Strong current knowledge of IT Security Monitoring and Logging systems such as Splunk Enterprise, Splunk Enterprise Security and forensic tools such as sys internals and Encase • US citizenship is required for this position as it falls under the terms of a government contract (to ensure compliance with DODPSP) • B.S in Computer Science or a related field preferred Company Overview • Peak Partners is focused on helping companies become more successful through merger, acquisition, recruiting and staffing.
