Description Operations Manager - Records & Recruitment PEACE Academy Charter works to promote educational and cultural empowerment for all of our students to ensure they are mastering or exceeding in their grade level content areas. Our strong focus on academics and cultural identity, supports us in being an inclusive school that is heavily grounded in community. We are seeking a dynamic Operations Manager who can contribute to our school community in addition to managing the operations needed for us to run smoothly. This position reports directly to the Operations Leader. Roles and Responsibilities: • Design, implement, and maintain efficient systems to manage the school master schedule, student information system (SIS), and related operational workflows. • Oversee accurate collection, maintenance, and submission of student and staff data, including FTE reporting, class schedules, student records, and teacher tenure and experience documentation. • Lead community engagement and student recruitment efforts to support enrollment growth and retention. • Manage the student registration and enrollment process, ensuring compliance with state, district, and charter requirements. • Coordinate and manage staff hiring processes, including posting positions, tracking applicants, and supporting interview logistics. • Maintain staff personnel records, oversee criminal background checks, and coordinate onboarding processes for new hires. • Support federal program administration, including development and submission of the Comprehensive Local Improvement Plan (CLIP), gathering stakeholder input, and ensuring timely submission of required documentation and reports. • Support federal program implementation, including coordination of Title I services for students and families and collaboration with instructional and support teams. • Support school marketing and outreach efforts related to student recruitment and staff hiring. • Develop, coordinate, and disseminate school-wide communications to staff, families, and community stakeholders. • Support staff attendance tracking and coordinate role coverage as needed to ensure continuity of school operations. • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Operations Leader and School Leader in support of school operations and strategic priorities. Requirements Minimum RequirementsEducation: • Bachelor’s degree required Experience: The experience and qualifications preferred for this position include: • Minimum of 3 years experience working with elementary and/or middle school-aged students • Demonstrated effectiveness in working with diverse groups of students, teachers, and families • Experience operating Student Information Systems • Experience with budget management • Experience with data collections and management • Experience leading student recruitment • Demonstrated effectiveness in managing federal and state requirements • Experience in a charter school setting Knowledge, Skills and Abilities • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills • Project Management • Demonstrated belief in the mission and vision of PEACE Academy • Proficient in Microsoft Suite, Google, Student Information Systems and document management • Works well independently and in a team setting. • Exceptional listening, verbal, and written communications skills. • Great attention to detail. • Knowledge state and federal charter school compliance guidelines
