We are a small, dedicated team on a mission to inspire the next generation of innovators and are looking for a key team member to help us expand our reach and streamline our marketing efforts. The Opportunity: Your Role We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and technically capable Digital Marketing Specialist to assist with our marketing initiatives. This is a hands-on role perfect for a marketing generalist or power user who wants to deepen their technical skills in a collaborative environment. You will work closely with the Marketing Director, ensuring projects run smoothly, deadlines are met, and our marketing engine is performing optimally. This is a long-term contract role offering stability and strong potential for full-time employment (W2) after eighteen months for a candidate who demonstrates a solid work ethic, reliability, and excellent performance. What You'll Do: Key Responsibilities • Marketing Execution: Use HubSpot to build and schedule email newsletters, manage social media posts, and execute campaigns. • Marketing Automation: Assist with managing and optimizing our automated workflows within HubSpot. • Content Creation & Research: Research trending topics in STEM education and pitch ideas for blog posts, lead magnets, and social media. • Web Production: Build and format blog posts and content pages in Shopify. A working knowledge of HTML and CSS is preferred but not required. • Project & Task Management: Assist with project management, tracking marketing tasks and deadlines to ensure our initiatives are consistently delivered on time. What You'll Bring: Core Requirements • Proven experience in a digital marketing role. • Exceptional writing, editing, and professional communication skills. • Strong project management ability with a keen eye for detail and a proven track record of meeting deadlines. • A reliable, proactive, and independent work ethic — you're comfortable managing your time and tasks remotely. • Associate's Degree or equivalent professional experience. Bonus Points If You Have • Direct experience with marketing workflow automation in Hubspot. • Experience building pages in Shopify using HTML and CSS. • Graphic design skills (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite). • Teaching experience or a genuine passion for STEM education. The Details • Schedule: Approximately 30 hours per week. Preferred working hours are Monday - Friday, starting at 8:00 AM Mountain Time. • Location: This is a remote position.
