Our company specializes in providing innovative solutions to clients across various industries, with a focus on driving business growth and enhancing customer experiences. As we continue to scale our business, we've partnered with Deloitte and is seeking a talented HR Leave Management Specialist to join our team! The HR Leave Management Specialist will be responsible for optimizing leave of absence and return-to-work processes while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and organizational policies. This role focuses on enhancing communication and training related to leave rights, upgrading compliance tracking systems, and developing training materials for leave management tools. The Specialist will play a critical role in fostering a smooth and efficient leave management experience for employees and managers. Key Responsibilities: Leave Management Optimization: • Streamline leave of absence and return-to-work processes to improve efficiency and compliance. • Collaborate with HR teams and managers to ensure employees fully understand their leave rights and responsibilities. • Serve as the primary point of contact for leave-related inquiries, providing clear and timely guidance to employees and supervisors. Compliance Tracking and System Enhancements: • Assess and enhance the functionality of the Absence Compliance Tracker (ACT) or similar leave management tools. • Ensure that tracking systems accurately monitor leave requests, approvals, durations, and return-to-work statuses. • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local leave laws, including FMLA, ADA, and other applicable regulations. Training and Communication: • Develop and deliver training materials and resources to educate employees, HR staff, and managers about leave management policies and processes. • Conduct workshops or webinars to introduce updated leave management systems and tools. • Create and distribute communication materials to ensure consistent messaging about leave policies and updates. Continuous Improvement: • Regularly review and update leave management policies and procedures to ensure compliance with changing laws and organizational needs. • Monitor leave metrics and employee feedback to identify areas for improvement. • Collaborate with HR leadership to implement best practices for leave and absence management. Requirements: • Proven experience in HR leave management, employee benefits administration, or a related field. • Familiarity with compliance tracking tools and leave management systems (e.g., Absence Compliance Tracker, Workday, or similar tools). • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local leave laws (e.g., FMLA, ADA, and state-specific regulations). • Excellent training and communication skills, with experience creating and delivering employee training materials. • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other HR-related software tools. • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). Work Environment and Reporting Structure: • Reports to the HR Compliance Manager or Director of Employee Relations. • Collaborative work environment requiring regular interaction with HR teams, managers, and employees.
