Telework is available subject to coordination with the Government Technical Monitor (GTM) and completion of the client’s required telework agreement. Contract: Supporting a federal government client’s enterprise IT modernization program. Potential five-year period of performance, contingent upon contract award. Clearance/Screening Requirements: Active Secret security clearance required prior to contract performance. Contractor personnel must comply with the client’s security requirements and execute required nondisclosure agreements. Position Summary: PBG’s McLean, VA office is seeking an experienced Senior Software Developer, Applications to support a federal government client’s continued operation, modernization, and enhancement of its enterprise applications platform. This Key Personnel role will lead the design, development, integration, and migration of enterprise applications built on Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM, Power Platform, .NET technologies, and SQL Server, while serving as a primary technical liaison to Government stakeholders and leading Agile delivery across a multidisciplinary development environment. Key Responsibilities: The Senior Software Developer, Applications shall be responsible for the following (subject to evolving needs): Apprise the Project Manager, Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR), and Government Technical Monitor (GTM) of significant IT operations and application development issues in a timely manner. Help lead the transformation of existing applications and the design of new applications with modernized interfaces and architectures. Coordinate with systems experts, developers, and programmers on the design and execution of migrations from current platforms to cloud-based platforms. Attend customer meetings as requested and serve as a primary technical liaison for application development and technical solution matters. Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise solutions within Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM and the Microsoft Power Platform. Configure Dynamics 365 custom entities, forms, views, business rules, workflows, and CRM security models to support mission and business requirements. Develop CRM plugins, JavaScript web resources, and custom business logic using C#, JavaScript, the Dynamics CRM SDK, and related Microsoft technologies. Build and maintain Power Apps and Power Automate workflows to support business process automation, notifications, approvals, and system-triggered logic. Develop and enhance custom applications using .NET, ASP.NET, Web API, C#, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and related technologies. Integrate Dynamics 365 CRM and Power Platform solutions with external systems using REST APIs, OData, JSON, XML, web services, and related enterprise integration methods. Support SQL Server database development, including stored procedures, views, triggers, data queries, reporting queries, and related database components. Lead and participate in Agile/Scrum delivery activities, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, estimation, status updates, reviews, and other team ceremonies. Troubleshoot application issues, support production systems, and implement enhancements based on user, stakeholder, and operational needs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, document technical solutions, and deliver high-quality software aligned with Government priorities. Provide technical leadership to development team members, helping motivate, engage, and coordinate the team while maintaining delivery quality and accountability. Minimum Qualifications: Minimum of 10 years of experience in the IT services or software development field. Demonstrated experience supporting IT application migration and development projects. Bachelor’s degree or higher in statistics, computer science, mathematics, or a related field. Minimum of 2-5 years of experience working with a cloud environment. Hands-on experience developing and supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM solutions. Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps and Power Automate. Strong development experience with C#, JavaScript, .NET, ASP.NET, Web API, or similar Microsoft technologies. Experience developing Dynamics CRM plugins, JavaScript web resources, custom entities, forms, views, workflows, and security roles. Experience integrating enterprise applications using REST APIs, OData, JSON, XML, and related integration methods. Strong SQL Server experience, including database development, stored procedures, views, triggers, and reporting queries. Demonstrated ability to lead projects using Scrum/Agile frameworks and methodologies. Experience leading technical teams, with the ability to motivate and engage team members and coordinate delivery across disciplines. Excellent written, verbal, client-facing, and technical communication skills, including the ability to collaborate effectively with Government stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
