The Senior Organizational Effectiveness Program Manager will lead complex, cross-functional Org Effectiveness programs and initiatives that enhance organizational capabilities to achieve business goals. The ideal candidate will have expertise in organizational effectiveness principles, including leadership development, talent management, employee engagement, culture transformation, and change management methodologies, and is a collaborative leader with experience developing and executing programs that align with Paylocity culture and business strategy. This role specifically focuses on building, maintaining, optimizing, and executing programs in support of our overall Talent Management strategy and HR priorities, including employee voice, Great Place to Work, performance success (mid-year check-ins and annual reviews), employee engagement, talent reviews and succession planning, and career pathing. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. • Develop, implement, and oversee organizational effectiveness programs that align people, processes, and structures with strategic objectives. • Create and maintain programs to enable leaders to drive employee engagement and foster a high-performing and inclusive culture. • Align programs with Paylocity’s goals, values, and strategic priorities to drive measurable impact. • Collaborate with HR and business leaders to assess organizational health and recommend solutions to enhance performance, engagement, and culture. • Establish and track success metrics for organizational effectiveness initiatives and programs. • Leverage data and analytics to assess program impact, identify trends, and inform continuous improvement strategies. • Champion cross-functional collaboration, influencing senior stakeholders and guiding teams without direct authority to ensure alignment and execution. • Mitigate risk proactively, surface critical issues and develop contingency plans to protect program integrity and business continuity. • Serve as a trusted advisor to business and HR leaders, providing insights and coaching on organizational effectiveness practices. • Facilitate workshops, focus groups, and feedback sessions to engage stakeholders on feedback loops and co-create solutions. • Build strong relationships with internal and external partners to ensure alignment and program success. • Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous learning. • Share best practices, tools, and resources to build internal capabilities. • Develop and execute change management strategies for your programs to ensure smooth adoption of organizational initiatives, policies, and systems. • Partner with project teams and leadership to assess change impacts and implement targeted communication, training, and support plans. • Manage multiple, complex and concurrent organizational projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. • Facilitate cross-departmental collaboration to drive project outcomes and resolve challenges. Education and Experience • 8+ years of progressive experience in organizational development, HR, or related roles, with a proven track record of building scalable OE programs that drive business impact. • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred in HR, Organizational Development, Industrial/Org Psychology, or Business Administration. • Proven ability to analyze and interpret data to drive decision-making. • Strong facilitation, coaching, and communication skills. • Expertise in change management frameworks (e.g., Prosci, ADKAR) and tools. • Track record of successfully implementing organizational initiatives that drive engagement and performance. • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and levels, influencing and managing stakeholders effectively. • Highly refined project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple complex/cross-functional initiatives simultaneously. • Exceptional communication and influencing skills, including executive-level presentations. • Comfortable navigating both strategic and tactical responsibilities in dynamic environments. • Physical requirements • Ability to sit for extended periods: The role requires sitting at a desk or workstation for long periods, typically 7-8 hours a day. • Use of computer and phone systems: The employee must be able to operate a computer, use phone systems, and type. The pay range for this position is $97,200 - $138,900/yr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
