🐾 Volunteer Opportunity: Help Paws for Patrick Expand in Pittsburgh! 🐾 Are you passionate about making a difference and looking for a way to give back to the Pittsburgh community and youth mental health across the US? Paws for Patrick is expanding our crucial youth mental health programs through the emotional support of animals in the region, and we need dedicated volunteers to help us grow our ! We are seeking volunteers to support Events & Fundraising in the Greater Pittsburgh Region, with the Director of Development (a Pittsburgh-based fundraiser). What You Will Do: This is a hands-on, volunteer-based role perfect for someone eager to gain real-world experience in non-profit management, event planning, and community outreach. Perfect for someone with a passion for animals and supports youth mental health initiatives. • Coordinate In-Person Events: Assist with planning, execution, and logistics for community events and volunteer-driven programming throughout Pittsburgh. This could be giveback events, community awareness events, etc. Open to your own creativity! • Support Fundraising Initiatives: Help organize and execute local fundraisers, including managing event registration, securing in-kind donations, and assisting with post-event follow-up. • Build Community Awareness: Engage with local businesses and community members to spread the word about Paws for Patrick's mission and programs.
