Summary The customer service representative will help in all efforts to provide our customers with quality service. This position must ensure compliance with customers, and communication standards. This successful candidate will ultimately be responsible for the daily responsibilities of supporting the customers, sales managers and business unit directors with day-to-day responsibilities, routine questions, inventory, customer service and other duties set in place by the department supervisor to meet and exceed daily goals. This position is Monday to Friday from 7am - 4pm, In office. Skills/ Abilities · Adaptability – Demonstrates flexibility with change. · Organization – effectively manages time and the workspace. Balances conflicting priorities to manage workflow, ensure completion of essential projects and meets critical deadlines. · Proactive – Anticipation of needs, addresses problems and acts to prevent them. Utilizes analytical skills and broad understanding of the business to effectively interpret needs. · Communication – Listens to understands the needs; speaks with confidence using a clear and concise flow of information. · Service Oriented – Interacts professionally with leaders, clients, vendors and team members. Promptly responds to requests with accuracy and a courteous demeanor. · Judgement – Exhibits sound judgement and the ability to make reasonable decisions in the absence of direction. Swiftly refers problems/ issues to the appropriate person when necessary. Responsibilities · Proactively engage with customers to drive sales, ensuring a delightful experience that encourages repeat business. · Act as a customer service ambassador, responding to customer queries directly and offering effective solutions for order processing. · Assist in troubleshooting and resolving customer challenges, guiding them through the process as a trusted representative to secure future sales. · Maintain a thorough knowledge of our clients’ services to answer sales-related questions confidently. · Cultivate relationships with customers, earning trust and loyalty through personalized and attentive service. · Collaborate with sales managers to ensure smooth transitions from inquiry to purchase to boost sales. Stay informed on sales targets to provide best service. · Proactively anticipate customers needs to elevate their service experience. · Document and track customer interaction to ensure accurate reporting to track all sales orders for successful delivery. · Collaborate with shipping and receiving for order tracking/delivery. · Regularly provide reports and financial data for the business unit director. · Assist in quarterly inventory assessments. · Maintain accurate digital and physical product inventory counts via D365. · The above responsibilities are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by the individual assigned to this position. Qualifications · Minimum of 2 years of customer service/inside sales experience preferred. · Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with a customer-first mindset. · Proficient with MS Office suite and/or inventory software to maintain records, input data, and create reports. · Basic understanding of railway, dock, and warehouse procedures preferred. · Highly organized and able to manage a changing list of priorities.
