Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Part Time Cook to join our kosher culinary team. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for food preparation and a strong background in food service, with the ability to create delicious, nutritious meals in a fast-paced environment. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to a supportive team while honing culinary skills and ensuring high standards of food safety and quality. We are currently looking for someone willing to fill up our Friday-Sunday or Saturday-Monday schedule. Duties • Prepare and cook meals according to menu specifications, dietary guidelines, and safety standards • Assist in menu planning and meal presentation to enhance dining experience • Ensure all food handling and preparation adhere to proper food safety protocols • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils • Assist with food portioning, plating, and serving as needed • Support catering events or special meal requests when required • Follow recipes accurately and ensure consistent quality in all dishes prepared • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely meal service during busy periods Requirements • Previous experience in dietary departments, catering, or restaurant kitchens preferred • Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards • Excellent knife skills and proficiency in various cooking methods • Familiarity with kosher kitchens a plus • Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team • Strong attention to detail, cleanliness, and organization in the kitchen environment • Prior experience in the food industry or culinary field is highly desirable • Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours on a part-time basis Job Type: Part-time Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 25 per week Benefits: • Employee discount • Paid sick time • Paid training Work Location: In person
