Full Description

We’re hiring a founding full-stack engineer in LATAM to help us build the systems that will run financial operations. At PathPilot, we’re building an AI workforce for lending — agents that handle support, collections, onboarding, and compliance end-to-end. These systems operate in real environments across chat, voice, and backend workflows, where money, risk, and compliance are on the line. This is not a typical engineering role. You’ll work directly with the founders to design, build, and scale production AI systems, owning both product and technical decisions from day one. Teams jump between CRMs, follow scripts, chase payments, and review documents — not because it’s simple, but because it’s fragmented and high-stakes. As a result, companies scale headcount instead of efficiency. PathPilot changes that. We build AI agents that: Handle customer conversations (chat, voice, WhatsApp) Execute collections workflows and negotiate payments Verify documents and run onboarding processes Enforce quality and compliance in real time What You’ll Do Build end-to-end features across the stack (React/TypeScript + Python) Design and scale backend systems that power AI agents in production Work on real AI workflows (orchestration, memory, integrations) Integrate with CRMs, dialers, messaging systems, and internal tools Define APIs, architecture, and core product decisions Ship fast with high ownership Requirements (Must-Have) Strong experience building and shipping full-stack applications Backend-heavy mindset (Python preferred) Experience designing scalable systems and APIs Ability to own projects end-to-end Comfortable in fast-moving, early-stage environments Good english skills Nice to Have Experience with: LLMs / AI agents (prompting, orchestration, evals) Voice AI or real-time systems Data-heavy systems (logs, conversations, pipelines) Familiarity with LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar Experience in fintech or regulated environments Previous experience as a founding engineer or founder Who You Are You care about building real systems, not prototypes You think in terms of outcomes and reliability, not just code You move fast and make pragmatic decisions You want ownership, not tickets About PathPilot PathPilot is an AI platform for fintech operations.
