High school diploma or equivalent, previous machine operating experience preferred, ability to stand and lift up to 45 lbs, and adherence to safety standards.
JOB SUMMARY: We are looking for Machine Operator 2 to maintain and operate machinery. You’ll ensure the efficient running of production. A great machine operator is reliable and able to work with attention to detail and safety standards. On-the-job training is a good way to discover how to do the job better, you should have the willingness to learn and improve. The goal will be to ensure that production procedures will be carried on smoothly to maximize efficiency and profits. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES: • Monitoring and maintaining warehouse equipment and machinery. • Controlling and adjusting minimal offsets on machine settings when necessary to improve performance. • Feeding raw materials or parts to semi-automated machines. • Inspect loose tolerance parts with precision and measuring tools. • Verifying the accuracy of quantity and quality of parts. • Utilizing the supervisor to help troubleshoot issues and perform maintenance. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: • H.S. Diploma or Equivalent. • Previous machine operating experience in a manufacturing facility, or similar relevant experience preferred. (CNC Mills preferred) • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. REQUIRED PHYSICAL DEMANDS: • Requires standing 90% of shift. • Frequent bending, twisting, squatting, and lifting with arms extended. • Must be able to lift up to 45 lbs. • Requires good manual dexterity. ENVIRONMENTAL EXPOSURES: • Hearing and vision protection required in all areas. • Closed toe shoes are required in all areas. • Exposure to oil, grease, dust, metal particles, sparks, sharp-edged materials. SAFETY REQUIREMENTS: • Exposed to hazards/risks that require body protection (gloves, pants, steel toes-in certain departments, sleeves, safety glasses, etc.).
