Location: Southeast U.S. (Remote – must reside in region) Salary: Base $50-80K + Commission Employment Type: Full-time Travel: ~70% About the Role An innovative medical technology company advancing powered prosthetic solutions is seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to drive growth across the Southeast region, including FL, GA, SC, NC, VA, MD, DE, and Washington, D.C. This is a high-impact, field-based role for a sales professional with strong relationships in the Orthotics & Prosthetics (O&P) space. The ideal candidate combines consultative selling skills with an entrepreneurial mindset and thrives in growth-stage environments. Key Responsibilities • Develop and execute territory sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through closing • Identify new business opportunities within O&P clinics, distributors, and strategic partners • Build and maintain strong relationships with key O&P stakeholders • Conduct product demonstrations and present technical solutions to clinicians and decision-makers • Grow existing accounts while expanding new opportunities • Analyze regional market trends and customer needs • Provide feedback to leadership and product teams to inform strategy • Maintain accurate pipeline tracking and activity reporting • Provide regular updates on sales performance and customer engagement • Represent the organization at trade shows and industry events • Contribute to brand presence and customer journey development Qualifications Required • 5–7 years of B2B sales experience (medical device or O&P strongly preferred) • Established relationships within the O&P profession • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets • Strong presentation, negotiation, and consultative selling skills • Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities independently • Willingness to travel extensively within the Southeast region (~70%) • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and collaboration tools Preferred • Experience selling O&P technology solutions • Experience in startup or high-growth medical device environments • Familiarity with CRM systems and sales tracking tools • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
