About the Role We’re hiring a Venue Partnerships & Growth Associate to help expand our network of bars and restaurants. You’ll support the outreach process, keep our pipeline moving, and help onboard venues to the PartyPlace platform. This is an entry-level role for someone early in their career, hungry, and eager to grow. Our hope is you will learn the process, work directly with the founders, and grow into a role where you own and close partnerships. About PartyPlace PartyPlace is the go-to platform for seamless large-group, party, and event reservations in NYC (and soon other cities!). We eliminate the hassle of contacting venues, filling out forms, and endless back-and-forth. Hosts can discover and instantly book the perfect venue in just a few clicks. Launched in 2023, PartyPlace now partners with 200+ NYC venues and attracts thousands of visitors each week. We’re building tools to make IRL gatherings easier and more spontaneous — and we’re just getting started. What You’ll Do • Find great spots: Research & canvas bars and restaurants and use creative ways to get them excited about PartyPlace. • Keep things moving: Help us every step of the way from outreach to getting venues onboarded, making sure no venue slips through the cracks. • Join the pitch: Sit in on sales meetings with the founders and support onboarding once a venue is ready to sign. • Make venues shine: Support venues in crafting the perfect listing! • Stay connected: Check in with venues and keep relationships warm. • Share insights and craft our product roadmap: Pass along what you’re hearing from venues to help shape our product and strategy. • Pitch in on growth: Lend a hand as we expand to new markets (occasional travel possible). What Makes You a Great Fit • 1–2 years of experience (sales, biz dev, account support, hospitality, or even campus leadership all count). • Eager to learn: You’re hungry, coachable, and don’t mind hearing “no” as long as you’re growing. • Clear communicator! • Organized by nature! • Tech-friendly: You pick up new tools quickly (and might even help us pick the best ones). • NYC-based & in-person: You’re excited to be part of a small, ambitious team and to get out and visit venues.
