What You'll Do: - You will greet and assist patients upon arrival, ensuring a positive and welcoming environment. - You will manage patient appointments, scheduling and rescheduling as needed. - You will verify patient information and insurance details accurately. - You will handle patient inquiries and resolve issues promptly and courteously. - You will maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality in compliance with healthcare regulations. - You will collaborate with healthcare providers and administrative staff to optimize patient flow. - You will process payments and handle billing inquiries with attention to detail. - You will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance patient service quality. What You Bring: - Minimum of 2 years experience in a healthcare or customer service role. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and team members. - Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems and scheduling software. - Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment. - Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance processes is preferred. - High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in healthcare administration is a plus. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working in a hospital or clinical setting. - Bilingual abilities, especially in Spanish or other commonly spoken languages. - Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient privacy standards. - Customer service awards or recognitions.
