Role Overview: As an IT Support Engineer, you will play a critical role in providing first-level technical support to end users, ensuring smooth operation of desktop, laptop, and mobile devices. This customer-oriented position requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to deliver timely, effective solutions in a fast-paced environment. What You'll Do: - You will provide first-level technical support for desktop, laptop, and mobile devices to end users. - You will troubleshoot hardware and software issues, escalating complex problems as needed. - You will manage user accounts and permissions within various IT systems. - You will assist with the setup and configuration of new devices and software installations. - You will maintain accurate documentation of support requests and resolutions. - You will collaborate with other IT team members to improve support processes. - You will ensure compliance with company IT policies and security protocols. - You will provide excellent customer service, communicating clearly and professionally with users. What You Bring: - Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support or a related technical role. - Proficiency with Windows and macOS operating systems. - Experience supporting mobile devices and common business software applications. - Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. - Ability to work onsite Monday through Thursday and remotely on Fridays, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Bonus Points If You Have: - Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional, or similar. - Experience with Active Directory and user account management. - Familiarity with network troubleshooting and basic IT security practices. - Previous experience in a customer-facing IT support role.
