Safety is a core operational expectation, and this role is critical to maintaining compliance, reducing risk, and building a strong, execution focused safety culture. Role Overview Partify is seeking an experienced Operations Safety Manager to own and execute safety programs across multiple on site locations in Warren, MI, and Fraser, MI. This is a hands on, on site leadership role, focused on consistent execution, incident reduction, and operational compliance. The Safety Manager serves as the primary safety subject matter expert (SME) for transportation (OTR) and warehouse/facility (UTR) operations, working directly with site leadership and operations managers. This role emphasizes field presence, standard work, metric driven decision making, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Safety Operations Execution: Own day to day execution of safety programs across multiple locations. Ensure consistent implementation of warehouse safety standards. Serve as the on site safety leader for operations managers, supervisors, and frontline teams. Conduct regular safety audits, Gemba walks, and field observations. Track, analyze, and report safety KPIs, trends, and leading indicators. Identify and escalate safety risks with clear corrective action plans. Regulatory Compliance: Manage OTR safety programs including driver safety, yard safety, and loading/unloading processes. Ensure compliance with DOT, FMCSA, OSHA, and Michigan state regulations. Act as the primary point of contact for safety related regulatory inquiries and inspections. Partner with third party carriers to ensure adherence to Partify safety expectations. Incident Management and Investigation: Lead injury, vehicle, and safety incident investigations across sites. Ensure timely documentation, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive actions. Maintain accurate incident records and reporting. Partner with operations leadership to close gaps and prevent recurrence. Leadership, Coaching and Influence: Influence site leaders and frontline teams without direct authority. Coach managers and supervisors on safety ownership and accountability. Deliver safety training, toolbox talks, and safety communications. Drive a culture where safety is embedded into daily operational execution. Continuous Improvement and Projects: Lead site level safety improvement initiatives and projects. Standardize safety processes and best practices across locations. Support rollout of safety training, SOPs, and awareness programs. Use data and field feedback to improve safety processes and reduce risk. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Health, Operations, or a related field. 3 - 5 years of experience in transportation safety, warehouse safety, or operations management and safety. Working knowledge of DOT, FMCSA, OSHA, and state safety regulations. Experience investigating incidents and implementing corrective actions. Clear communication skills and comfort working with senior leadership. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Ability to work on site across multiple facilities. Preferred Qualifications 5+ years of safety or operations experience in logistics, warehousing, manufacturing, or transportation. Experience supporting multi-site operations. Automotive or distribution center environment experience. Experience working with third party carriers or contractors. Familiarity with project management. Experience tracking and managing safety action items and projects. Experience with platforms such as NetSuite, Shopify, ShipBob, Manhattan, Skubana, or similar. Experience with e-commerce, logistics, or physical operations environments. Data driven mindset with the ability to execute independently. Work Environment 100% on site across multiple facilities in Warren, MI and Fraser, MI. Monday - Friday schedule. Mix of office work and time on the warehouse floor.
