In this role, you will support and maintain the cybersecurity posture of information systems, ensuring compliance with federal regulations and implementing security controls to protect system integrity. What You’ll Be Doing Support the cybersecurity of information systems, helping to ensure compliance with federal regulations (e.g., NIST 800-181). Implement, operate, and monitor security controls to protect system integrity, confidentiality, and availability. Conduct and document risk assessments to identify and help mitigate potential vulnerabilities. Track, analyze, and report vulnerabilities; support remediation activities to ensure adherence to federal regulations and organizational policies. Assist in preparing and maintaining security documentation (e.g., SSPs, POA&Ms, risk assessments) in coordination with the ISSM and other stakeholders. What Required Skills You’ll Bring Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and 5+ years of relevant experience. Proven experience in information systems security, cybersecurity operations, or related security roles. Strong knowledge of federal regulations such as NIST 800-181 and cybersecurity best practices. Demonstrated ability to conduct risk assessments and support vulnerability management activities. Exceptional organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail in documentation and reporting. What Desired Skills You’ll Bring Experience implementing, operating, and monitoring security controls for information systems in accordance with federal or DoD/IC standards. Familiarity with tools and technologies for cybersecurity management (e.g., vulnerability scanners, SIEMs, endpoint security tools, configuration management tools). Strong communication skills to collaborate with system owners, administrators, and other stakeholders to support compliance and remediation actions. Knowledge of strategies and techniques to protect system integrity, confidentiality, and availability, and to support continuous monitoring efforts. Security Clearance Requirement: An active Top Secret SCI w/Polygraph security clearance is required for this position. This position is part of our Federal Solutions team.
