We’ve got what you’re looking for. Job Description: We are seeking a Project Manager – Facilities to manage modernization and construction projects for FAA operational facilities. This role oversees the planning, execution, and delivery of complex facility projects, ensuring compliance with FAA and federal standards. This position is hybrid and based on customer needs, the successful candidate should expect frequent, and at times short-notice, on-site requirements at FAA Headquarters in Washington, DC. For this reason, only those located within a 100-mile radius of FAA Headquarters will be considered. What You'll Be Doing: • Manage planning and execution of facility modernization and new construction projects. · Develop project schedules, budgets, and risk management strategies. • Coordinate with engineering, construction, safety, and logistics teams. • Serve as primary FAA point of contact for facility readiness and acceptance. • Ensure compliance with FAA safety, environmental, and operational standards. • Oversee site preparation, installation, and transition to operations. What Required Skills You'll Bring: • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience). • 10+ years managing facility construction or modernization projects in complex environments. • Knowledge of federal/FAA facility and safety requirements. • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills. What Desired Skills You'll Bring: • Experience with FAA facilities (control towers, TRACONs, technical centers). • Background in projects supporting aviation or national infrastructure. • PMP or PgMP certification.
