Full Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, and excellent patient service abilities. Hours will be Tuesdays 8am-4:30 in Livonia Wednesdays 7:30-4:00 in Brighton Thursdays 7:30-4:30 in Livonia and 2 Saturdays per month. We are an allergy and asthma center, therefore injection experience is a must Duties • Allergy injections • Measure and record vital signs accurately using EHR systems • Assist with patient examinations and procedures in outpatient settings • Prepare patients for examinations by explaining procedures and ensuring comfort • Support physicians with medication administration, and prior authorizations. • Document clinical notes and ICD coding accurately within electronic health records • Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment adhering to safety protocols Qualifications • Certification or diploma as a Medical Assistant from an accredited program is a must • Experience working in allergy care is highly desirable • Familiarity with EHR system Eclinical works is helpful • Ability to perform clinical tasks such as vital signs collection, intake assessments, and blood draws • Ability to work efficiently in outpatient environments with varying acuity levels Job Type: Part-time Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 30 per week Benefits: • 401(k) • 401(k) matching • Paid time off Work Location: In person
