NOW HIRING: MACHINE OPERATORS – 2ND SHIFT Pay: $19.00–$21.00 per hour (based on experience) Locations: Naperville, Batavia Schedule: Monday–Thursday | 1:00 PM–1:00 AM (varies by client) Full-Time | Temp-To-Hire | Weekly Pay PROMAN Staffing is hiring Machine Operators for multiple manufacturing facilities, including corrugated and plastic production plants. This is an excellent opportunity for mechanically inclined candidates seeking long-term, stable work with growth potential. Job Summary As a Machine Operator, you will operate high-speed production equipment such as extrusion machines, mixers, folder gluers, rotary die cutters, and flexo presses. You will be responsible for safety, quality checks, machine adjustments, and maintaining steady production flow. Responsibilities • Set up, operate, adjust, and clean production machinery. • Operate extrusion, mixing, drying, grinding, and related equipment safely. • Perform quality checks, measurements, and complete all documentation. • Troubleshoot mechanical issues and report equipment concerns. • Assist with stacking, packing, rework, and general production tasks. • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times. • Follow all safety standards, SOPs, and plant rules. • Support or lead production crew members as needed. Physical Requirements • Stand 8–10 hours per shift. • Lift 50 lbs regularly (up to 75 lbs occasionally). • Work in a loud, fast-paced manufacturing environment. Requirements • High School Diploma or GED preferred. • 2+ years manufacturing or machine operator experience preferred. • Extrusion or corrugated machine experience is a plus. • Ability to read specs and use a tape measure accurately. • Mechanically inclined with strong attention to detail. • Forklift experience is a bonus. • Must be dependable and safety-focused.
