Job Title: Post-Production Video Editor (Remote | Ongoing Contract) Company: Parallel 40 Productions Job Type: Contract / Freelance (Ongoing) Location: Remote About Parallel 40 Productions Parallel 40 Productions is a storytelling-driven video production company focused on creating meaningful, high-quality video content for charter schools and education-focused organizations. Our work centers on authentic stories—students, teachers, classrooms, and communities—captured and shaped with care, clarity, and purpose. We are looking for a skilled and reliable Post-Production Video Editor to support ongoing projects and collaborate closely with our production team. Role Overview As a Post-Production Video Editor, you will work with pre-shot footage to craft polished, story-driven videos. This role requires strong editing instincts, attention to detail, and the ability to follow clear creative direction while elevating the final output. Key Responsibilities • Edit interview-based and documentary-style videos • Assemble school overview films, student and teacher stories, and short-form social edits • Follow provided creative briefs, sequences, and instructions • Apply clean pacing, thoughtful transitions, and basic sound cleanup • Upload drafts and revisions using Frame.io for review • Maintain organized project files and timelines Required Skills and Experience • Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro • Experience with structured, instruction-led editing workflows • Ability to deliver clean, professional edits consistently and on time • Comfortable working remotely and communicating clearly • Detail-oriented and organized with file management Tools & Workflow • Adobe Premiere Pro • LucidLink (cloud-based file access) • Google Drive • Frame.io Note: Experience with LucidLink is a plus, but not required. We can provide guidance on setup.
