From maximizing rebates, MDF dollars, and advertising funds to identifying trends that drive profitability—you’ll play a key role in fueling our continued growth. You’ll collaborate across departments including Finance, Sales, Procurement, Marketing, and Operations, gaining a 360-degree view of both strategic and operational functions. Your Opportunity for Impact As an Accounting Analyst, you will leverage your financial expertise to manage, analyze, and optimize key vendor rebate programs and partner funding initiatives. You’ll ensure accuracy and compliance while delivering insights that improve performance and efficiency. Your analytical mindset and proactive problem-solving will directly contribute to driving profitability and process improvement across the organization. What You Will Do • Ensure timely and accurate processing of payments and compliance with vendor contractual requirements. • Track, calculate, and process rebate payments, administrative fees, MDF, and advertising funds. • Review and reconcile payments for accuracy; enter rebate programs into NetSuite and generate custom, ad hoc, and standard reports. • Prepare and maintain journal entries, account reconciliations, and general ledger activities. • Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies. • Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Procurement, and Finance to ensure program visibility, accuracy, and timely communication. • Assist with audit preparation and coordinate with external auditors. • Maintain fixed asset records and perform depreciation calculations. • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and management dashboards. • Develop and monitor KPIs and financial performance metrics. • Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable insights on business performance. • Support forecasting and budgeting processes through data analysis and modeling. • Create ad hoc financial reports and business analyses for leadership decision-making. • Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and scalability. • Support system upgrades and new software implementations. • Develop and maintain spreadsheet models and automated reporting tools. • Contribute to special projects and strategic initiatives as needed. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • 3+ years of progressive accounting and/or financial analysis experience; experience in a technology or B2B environment preferred. • Strong knowledge of GAAP and core financial accounting principles. • Experience with partner funding programs, rebates, or FP&A is highly desirable. • Proficiency with NetSuite or similar accounting software. • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, and data modeling). • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking capabilities. • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, balancing multiple priorities effectively Join a Company That Values Growth And Innovation At Paragon Micro, your voice matters, your insights drive change, and your work has a direct impact on our success. Compensation Philosophy at Paragon Micro At Paragon Micro, we offer a base salary range of $65,000 to $85,000 annually, complemented by an annual bonus, paid quarterly. This range reflects the diverse levels of expertise and experiences we seek in our candidates and is intended to provide a general framework—not a guarantee of placement within the range. Importantly, this base salary and bonus structure does not represent the full scope of our total compensation package, which includes a comprehensive benefits offering, 401(k) retirement plan, and additional performance incentives. The final compensation offer will be determined based on your unique qualifications, including relevant experience, skills, and the value you bring to the role. We take a thoughtful, equitable approach to compensation, ensuring each offer is competitive and aligned with both market standards and individual contributions.
