Position Description: We are seeking a results-driven Senior Manager of Agile Delivery, to own Agile Program Management and lead the delivery of enterprise-scale initiatives across our Agile teams. In this role, you will be responsible for enabling high-performing Scrum teams by directly managing a team of Scrum Masters and Product Owners (we call them PDLs), driving consistency in agile execution, and accelerating value delivery through scalable Agile practices. You will partner closely with product, engineering, delivery, and business leaders to ensure alignment, transparency, and continuous improvement across Agile programs. Position Location: Remote, United States Reports To: VP, Product Delivery What We’re Looking For: Requirements: • 8+ years of experience in Agile delivery or program management roles. • 3+ years of direct people management experience, including responsibility for Scrum Masters and/or Product Owners. • Strong expertise in Agile frameworks such as Scrum, SAFe, Kanban, and related delivery methodologies. • Experience managing complex, multi-team programs in a scaled agile environment. • Proficient in Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence). • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with experience presenting to senior leadership. Additional skills: • Agile certifications such as SAFe Program Consultant (SPC), SAFe RTE, Certified Scrum Professional (CSP), or PMI-ACP. • Experience in retail and/or fuel and convenience industry is a plus. • Familiarity with Agile engineering practices, DevOps, and cloud-native architecture. • Experience with Lean Portfolio Management or Value Stream Mapping. Team Management & Coaching • Directly manage and develop a team of Scrum Masters and PDLs, providing clear guidance, performance coaching, and professional development. • Foster a collaborative, empowered team culture that promotes ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement. • Mentor Agile team members and champion a growth mindset in team operations. Agile Governance & Delivery Operations • Define and track Agile program-level KPIs and metrics to assess velocity, quality, and value delivery. • Coordinate and manage cross-team dependencies, risks, and delivery timelines. • Collaborate with delivery, product, and engineering leadership to align on priorities and capacity planning. Agile Transformation & Enablement • Lead change management efforts and the ongoing evolution of agile practices across the PAR Retail business unit. • Help develop Agile operating models, transformation roadmaps, and continuous improvement plans. Stakeholder Engagement • Act as a liaison between Agile teams and business stakeholders to ensure transparency, feedback loops, and shared ownership. • Communicate program updates, delivery risks, and mitigation strategies to senior leadership. • Promote an agile mindset across departments through education, advocacy, and change management support.
