Responsibilities • The Operations Manager's primary responsibilities include the daily oversight of recruitment, onboarding, and training of all new staff. This role holds direct supervisory and corrective action authority up to and including termination over restaurant team members and delivery drivers. You will champion daily restaurant operations, ensuring the team executes all required tasks to the highest standards of quality. • Achieve success by acting as a proactive, autonomous leader, making sound decisions, and fostering a culture of pride and accountability among staff. • Accountable for managing all shift operations and ensuring absolute adherence to all Company standards, policies, procedures, and systems. • This role is directly responsible for staff management, including shift supervision, hiring/separations, new hire integration, professional growth, performance reviews, and implementing disciplinary action for team members and drivers, who are direct reports to this position. • This position is typically assigned to high-volume or highly complex restaurant locations and reports directly to the General Manager. • Ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality products by creating and maintaining a quality control system with the team, guaranteeing every customer's order is accurate and meets brand standards. • Utilize all available resources, including the Operations Manual and Team Member Handbook, to effectively communicate, educate, and reinforce quality standards with the team. • Manage Company assets by maintaining a clean restaurant that consistently meets all safety and security regulations, and ensuring all team members' food safety certifications are current. • Oversee the work activities of all non-exempt staff during scheduled shifts, including shift leaders, in-store staff, and drivers. • When the General Manager is absent, assume full responsibility for all restaurant functions to ensure excellent customer service and product quality are maintained. • Proactively seek and hire customer-focused personnel, maintain proper staffing levels aligned with sales forecasts, effectively orient and train staff to surpass customer expectations, enforce uniform and appearance standards for all shifts, and clearly define performance objectives for all direct reports. • Thoroughly document and address performance issues, implementing necessary disciplinary measures, up to and including employment separation. • Provide effective coaching and development to team members and actively cultivate an environment of energy, teamwork, and enjoyment. • Support the achievement of sales targets by training the team on sales execution and product knowledge, leading to prompt and friendly service for all customers. • Contribute to the development and execution of strategies aimed at reversing negative trends and boosting restaurant profitability. • Execute financial controls and manage cash handling responsibilities at the shift level.
