Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Grocery Assistant Team Leader and play a vital role in delivering exceptional shopping experiences! In this energetic position, you will lead daily store operations, motivate team members, and ensure our grocery department runs smoothly and efficiently. Your leadership will help create a welcoming environment where customers feel valued and confident in their shopping journey. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your supervisory skills while engaging with a diverse range of products and customers. Responsibilities • Assist in supervising daily store activities, ensuring the grocery section is well-stocked, organized, and appealing to shoppers • Support team members by providing guidance on product placement, merchandising, and customer service standards • Lead by example in delivering outstanding customer service, addressing inquiries with professionalism and enthusiasm • Conduct product demos and upselling initiatives to promote featured items and increase sales opportunities • Oversee stock replenishment, inventory management, and ensure accurate cash handling using POS (Point of Sale) systems • Maintain excellent phone etiquette when interacting with customers and vendors over the phone • Support merchandising efforts by arranging displays that attract attention and drive sales Experience • Proven supervising experience in a retail or grocery store environment • Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering procedures, and retail math for accurate cash handling and sales tracking • Strong communication skills, including bilingual abilities preferred for serving diverse customer bases • Experience in product demos, upselling techniques, and merchandising strategies • Knowledge of grocery store operations such as stocking, inventory management, and customer service excellence • Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude in a fast-paced setting Join us to lead with energy, inspire your team, and make every shopping experience memorable!
