The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in cloud networking (especially Microsoft Azure), a strong understanding of hybrid and multi-cloud architectures, and experience with modern, data-intensive workloads, including those related to AI/ML. In this role, you’ll oversee teams responsible for network engineering, cloud connectivity, operations, automation, and communication services. Key Responsibilities: • Provide strategic and operational oversight for all connectivity services, including LAN/WAN, cloud networking, remote access, and unified communications. • Architect and manage hybrid connectivity between on-premises environments and public cloud platforms using services such as Azure ExpressRoute, Virtual WAN, and VPN Gateway. • Design cloud-native networking architectures that support scalable, secure, and resilient application delivery across Azure and AWS environments. • Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams to meet demanding network requirements for modern workloads, including containerized services and AI/ML platforms. • Lead segmentation and security strategies to support compliance with standards like HIPAA, PCI, and others. • Optimize networking infrastructure to support GPU-based workloads and low-latency, high-throughput demands. • Oversee core network components including switching, routing, firewalls, and WAN optimization. • Advance network automation and Infrastructure-as-Code practices using tools like Terraform, ARM, or Bicep. • Direct enterprise wireless strategies to support clinical mobility, IoT, and secure campus connectivity. • Manage telephony and unified communication platforms, including cloud-based voice and collaboration services. • Ensure secure and reliable connectivity for distributed teams, contractors, and external partners. • Cultivate vendor relationships to maintain service performance and enable future innovations. • Build and develop high-performing, cross-functional engineering teams with an emphasis on cloud connectivity. • Maintain alignment with internal security policies and external regulatory standards. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, or related discipline (Master’s preferred). • 12+ years of infrastructure experience with 7+ years leading network and/or cloud connectivity teams. • Advanced knowledge of Azure networking technologies, including vNet, ExpressRoute, NSG, Private Link, etc. • Proven experience supporting hybrid environments integrating cloud and data center resources. • Background in enterprise WAN architecture, SD-WAN, and global networking solutions. • Familiarity with AI/ML networking requirements and performance optimization. • Strong leadership in automation, performance tuning, monitoring, and troubleshooting. • Excellent strategic thinking, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills. • Prior experience in highly regulated sectors (e.g., healthcare, finance) is a plus. Preferred Certifications: • Microsoft Certified: Azure Network Engineer Associate (AZ-700) • Cisco CCNP/CCIE, Fortinet NSE, or similar enterprise network certifications • AWS Advanced Networking or Google Cloud Network Engineer (preferred, not required)
