Lead technical product management for data platform products, ensuring data quality, scalability, and stakeholder alignment.
4+ years product management experience on platform or data teams, strong data fluency including SQL, technical program management skills, and excellent communication.
Description: • Technical PM role on the Platform Product team supporting Data Products that deliver device data, energy modeling, and insights. • Reinforce and evolve the platform foundation; scale and refine device data critical to Palmetto’s business. • Partner with engineering, product, operations, customer support, and financial stakeholders; join a tenured engineering team with deep energy data expertise. • Deliver fresh, accurate, and useful data for hundreds of thousands of devices that power homes with clean energy. • Define quality standards for energy modeling, data visualization, and device monitoring products. • Advocate for customers, business, and tech teams; proactively communicate and set clear stakeholder expectations. • Implement processes to help the team deliver quality at speed; lead prioritization, craft OKRs, and own roadmap decisions. Requirements: • 4+ years of product management experience, ideally on platform, data, or ML teams. Experience in engineering, data, or technical program management is welcome. • Best idea wins mentality - you foster debate and drive your team to focus on the most impactful outcomes. • Data fluency - quantitative rigor and logic are foundational to how you work. You regularly use SQL et al. to inform your decisions and measure success. You have built algorithm-based products. • Strong writing and communication skills - you write clear, persuasive PRDs and can influence senior stakeholders • Scalability & Performance Optimization - experience in identifying, measuring, and addressing performance bottlenecks in data systems and designing scalable platforms. • Growth mindset with a bias toward action, experimentation, and continuous improvement.
