Description OFFICE/SALES ADMINISTRATOR Reports To: Business Manager Summary The primary duty of the Office/Sales Administrator is to answer incoming calls then forward or transfer calls to the appropriate personnel. They will serve as the greeter and the "face" of the company by greeting customers, vendors, applicants and various people from the community. This position also requires various administrative tasks such as data entry, postings, distributing mail, managing calendars, writing effective emails. Additionally, the sales portion of this position requires handling walk-in and call-in customers for new and used trucks. The candidate will see the customer through the entire process, including preparing and filing title documents. Occasional travel to and from the post office and the clerk's office is required, as well as other duties as assigned. Essential Responsibilities • Answer, screen, and forward telephone calls. • Greet walk-in customers and other visitors. • Obtain or send information or documents using a computer, mail or fax machine. • Scanning in documents to appropriate portals. • Perform other administrative support tasks, such as keeping appointment calendars, data entry, postings, and ordering supplies. • Copy, file and maintain documents and records. • Collect, sort, distribute and prepare mail and courier deliveries. • Greet and handle walk-in and call-in customers for new and used trucks. • Preparation and filing of title paperwork Requirements Competencies • Ability to provide excellent customer service, via telephone or face to face • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal • Excellent listening skills • Customer oriented • Basic computer skills • Ability to multi-task • Top notch organizational skills Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
