At PalAmerican, our core values guide every interaction we have with clients and colleagues. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Security Dispatcher located in Bellingham, WA. The Security Dispatcher is responsible for coordinating security operations, responding to emergency calls, monitoring and operating communication systems, and dispatching personnel as required. This role involves maintaining detailed logs and reports, ensuring that all incidents are accurately recorded and communicated. You will work closely with security teams, clients, and emergency services to ensure the safety and security of assigned locations. Qualifications • Strong communication skills, including the ability to manage high-stress situations and provide clear, concise instructions • Proficiency in operating technical communication and monitoring systems • Experience in emergency response coordination and ability to stay composed during critical incidents • Attention to detail for maintaining accurate logs and incident reports • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills during challenging situations • Ability to collaborate effectively with security personnel, clients, and emergency responders • A high school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in security or dispatch operations are an asset • Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a similar field is preferred but not mandatory Schedule Thursday & Sunday 2200-0600, Friday & Saturday 1900-0700
