About Volt Capital Volt Capital is a New York-based venture capital firm focused on elevating crypto founders who are reimagining our systems. Since its launch in 2021, Volt Capital has made 60+ investments in early-stage crypto companies and protocols like Nansen, Magic Eden, LayerZero, Squads, Farcaster, Gevulot, and Pixels. Volt Capital is looking for a full time Executive Assistant to join the firm. You’ll be directly supporting the General Partners, working closely with the Chief of Staff and the growing investment + research labs teams. We’re currently a team of 5 people. This is demonstrated, for example, by keeping a pulse on new restaurants and event venues that are worthy of hosting our founders and LPs You are a quick study and quick to implement feedback Responsibilities Act as a force multiplier for the General Partners You’ll manage scheduling and prep for key meetings You’ll own execution of founder and LP meetings, internal and external dinners and select firm events, managing end-to-end logistics Collaborate with our Chief of Staff to develop and manage internal firm processes, streamlining our operations and improving efficiency Coordinate and manage firm projects and events, coordinating stakeholders, vendors and managing deadlines Partner with the investment team to keep processes running smoothly, from calendaring diligence calls to supporting deal flow tracking to enforcing closing timelines Develop and maintain internal databases, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information crucial for decision-making Oversee and manage day-to-day office operations This is a hybrid role: you must be based in the NY/NJ area with the ability and keen willingness to commute to our West Village office one or two days per week, or more often as needed to support key meetings and events Willingness to travel (domestically and internationally) a handful of times a year/as necessary Qualifications Min 5 years Executive Assistant, Chief of Staff, or administrative/operational support roles in fast-paced, high-trust environments (VC, finance, startups, tech, etc.) Experience working with C-level, management or founding executives Proficient in Google Workspace and Microsoft Suite products Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a collaborative and proactive approach Experience in office management and operations, with a background in administrative processes Nice to Haves Prior experience at an investment firm Prior experience supporting or interfacing with investor relations, operations or HR functions
