**Overview** • *Packaging Associate |** Now Hiring **| Santa Fe Springs, CA** • *Compensation Includes:** + Starting Pay Rate of **$17.74/hour** - paid weekly • *Available Shift:** + 1st Shift: 6:00am - 2:30 pm + 2nd: 2:00pm - 10:30pm + 3rd: 10:00pm - 6:30am • *Benefits Include:** + Medical, Dental, Vision + Prescription drug coverage + 401K with a company match + New Hire Wellness Bonus (see plan details) + Healthcare and Dependent day care flexible spending accounts + Corporate discounts • *Responsibilities** + Responsible for handling and packaging products and monitoring the quality of product + Manufacturing/production/warehouse experience desired + Previous packaging experience a plus + Previous experience working on a production floor a plus • *Qualifications** + EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Grade 10 or equivalent education; up to and including 3 months of related training or experience + MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add and subtract 4 digit numbers + MECHANICAL SKILLS: Basic knowledge of machinery or process required. May be required to stop machine, shut off glue lines, clear jammed cartons + COMMUNICATION SKILLS: Must be able to read, write & understand basic English. Able to communicate effectively, positively interact with coworkers and management and deal effectively & professionally under pressure + REASONING ABILITY: Job requires the use of established guidelines that are well defined or detailed with little or no choice of action.
