Now we’re extending that impact into the hands of consumers through our mobile apps - complex, offline-first beasts that keep working even when the network gives up. These apps are mission-critical, powering real-world retail operations at scale. We’re looking for a brilliant Senior React Native Engineer to become our in-house mobile authority. You’ll be the one everyone points to when anything “app” comes up. From architecture and offline sync to release management, you’ll own it all. This is a remote contractor position based in Serbia. Who you are: Lead the architecture, development, and optimization of our React Native apps. Build reliable, offline-first experiences that survive even the worst Wi-Fi at your favorite café. Tackle advanced sync optimization challenges. Own the full lifecycle - from design and implementation to deployment, monitoring, and release management. Work closely with our founders and engineering team as the go-to mobile expert. Continuously research, evaluate, and introduce new technologies that make our apps faster, slicker, and just plain cooler. Why Package.ai? What you bring: 5+ years of experience in React Native development. Proven experience designing and implementing offline-first apps and sync architectures. Strong familiarity with mobile build, testing, and deployment pipeline. A sharp eye for mobile UX and design details. Passion for software engineering craftsmanship - clean code makes you smile. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
