The Talent Engagement Specialist is a vital operational role, responsible for leading the execution of the full-cycle recruiting process and ensuring a seamless, high-touch experience for all candidates up to their New Hire Orientation. This role serves as the primary driver for high-volume talent acquisition, partnering with hiring managers to ensure we hire the best qualified candidates while expertly managing and recruiting for multiple hiring managers and balancing competing priorities. The Specialist provides essential, hands-on administrative support to the HR Manager and HR team as needed, ensuring efficient departmental operations in our collaborative and fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Full-Cycle Talent Acquisition & Candidate Experience Executes the full-cycle recruitment strategy, coordinating the pipeline from job posting to offer acceptance. Partners with the HR Manager on staffing needs and collaborates with assigned hiring managers to ensure alignment on candidate sourcing. Candidate Vetting & Scheduling: Reviews qualifications against requirements, conducts pre-screening interviews, and meticulously schedules all interview processes for manager review across departments. Pipeline Management & Metrics: Maintains real-time accuracy of all recruitment tracking logs and candidate records within the ATS (Workable), proactively managing metrics to support data-driven hiring decisions. Continuous Engagement: Manages all candidate communication from offer acceptance to the New Hire Orientation (NHO) hand-off, coordinating logistics and ensuring a high-touch experience to mitigate "ghosting." Onboarding Handoff & Compliance: Responsible for tracking the completion of all required new hire documentsand preparing files for a final, seamless handoff to the HR team. Strategic HR Support & Compliance Benefits Familiarization: Becomes proficient in the company's core benefits offerings to address basic candidate questions and effectively positions the company's value proposition to attract top talent. Refers all complex issues to the HR Manager or Benefits Broker. Administrative & Training Support: Provides willing and able support for a wide range of HR duties, including assisting with recruiting training for supervisors/managers and supporting the Training & Development team with general organizational development initiatives as needed and other duties as assigned. Records Compliance: Assists with maintaining accurate and confidential personnel records and employee files, ensuring compliance with all federal and California labor laws. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (is a plus) Minimum of 3 years of specialized full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably in healthcare or business services for a mission-driven environment. Minimum of 2 year of demonstrated experience organizing and attending job fairs, attending community hiring events, and building relationships with local workforce development organizations. Demonstrated experience managing high-volume recruitment in an ATS/HRIS (Workable, Paycom, or similar). Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to professional compliance. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a proven ability to manage complex scheduling and candidate engagement. Ability to work independently and effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and willingness to take on new HR duties as needed. Compensation: The compensation for this role ranges from $27.00 - $30.00 per hour (equivalent to an annual salary of $56,160 - $62,400 per year). Final compensation is dependent upon the candidate's level of experience, geographic area, and specific qualifications. This is an Hourly (Non-Exempt) position, eligible for overtime pay.
