Role: Digital Account Director Department: Digital Marketing Reports To: VP of Digital Marketing Role Summary As the Digital Account Director, you will be the senior strategic leader accountable for the health, profitability, and growth of our agency's most important client relationships. This is a dynamic, high-impact role that blends senior client relationship management with deep strategic digital expertise, acting as the critical bridge between our clients' real estate business objectives and our agency’s integrated marketing solutions. You will be responsible for developing and executing holistic digital strategies that seamlessly integrate Paid Search, SEO, Paid Social, Programmatic and Content strategy into one unified, data-backed approach. You will partner with cross-functional internal teams and maintain a significant client-facing presence to drive client satisfaction, retention, and long-term value creation. Key Responsibilities1. Strategic Leadership & Digital Expertise (The Strategist) • Integrated Digital Strategy: Develop, pitch, and execute cohesive, full-funnel digital marketing strategies that unify paid, organic, and content channels to drive measurable business impact. • Cross-Channel Vision: Provide strategic oversight for campaign build-out and implementation across all major paid and organic social media platforms, staying up-to-date on platform changes and evolving requirements. • Executive Presence: Deliver high-level strategic presentations to client executive teams, translating complex digital strategies and performance data into clear business outcomes and actionable recommendations. • SEO Mastery: Serve as the internal and client-facing expert on advanced SEO best practices, including keyword research, on-page optimization, e-commerce, local SEO, voice search, and AI-powered SEO. Ensure all strategies are built on a solid foundation of technical and content-based SEO principles. 2. Client Business Leadership & Commercial Stewardship (The Business Lead) • Client Relationship Management: Own the most critical client relationships, ensuring exceptional service, strategic relevance, and client retention. Proactively identify and resolve high-level client concerns. • Growth & Profitability: Drive revenue growth within the existing client portfolio by identifying opportunities to expand services into new business units and service lines, and ensure the strategic health and profitability of accounts. • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the agency lead within the client’s marketing team, collaborating with internal and external partners (e.g., creative, media) to deliver holistic market insights and cohesive execution. 3. Data Analysis, Reporting & Storytelling (The Analyst) • Advanced Analytics: Oversee and conduct in-depth data analysis using platforms including Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, GA4,, Google Search Console, and Google Tag Manager. • Data Visualization: QA & monitor interactive dashboards and custom reports in Looker Studio, ensuring data is accurately integrated via APIs from CRMs, Email Marketing, and other platforms (e.g., Meta & LinkedIn Tagging). • Data-Driven Storytelling: Transform complex data sets into a clear, compelling narrative that explains performance, highlights wins/opportunities, and provides concrete, business-focused action plans for the client. 4. Account Management & Process Improvement (The Operator) • Client Onboarding Oversight: Co-ownership of the Client Onboarding process. Work with the executive team and Account Managers to develop a standardized, efficient, and scalable process for account access, content approvals, reporting integration, and implementation. • Project & Process Management: Ensure operational excellence across all accounts. This includes maintaining key internal and client-facing trackers, setting clear deadlines, tracking progress, managing multiple simultaneous projects, and leading timely internal and client communication. • Team Enablement: Support the tiered Account Manager structure to balance workload and introduce scalability. Support escalation requests for digital team members, guiding them on complex client issues and strategic challenges. Qualifications • Minimum of 8+ years of experience in digital marketing, with at least 3+ years in a senior client-facing Account Director/Strategy role, preferably within an agency environment. • Proven expertise in real estate or comparable B2B/high-value asset marketing is a significant plus. • Deep, demonstrable expertise in Paid Search, Paid/Organic Social strategy, and SEO. • Expert-level proficiency in GA4, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager, and Looker Studio. • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting to C-Suite executives. • Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously and deliver under pressure. • Resides in one of the following states: CA, TX, TN, PA, MT, WA We offer: • Remote-first culture • Flexible Time Off + Paid Holidays • 401(k) matching • Medical & Dental Insurance The anticipated annual salary for this role will range from $80,000- $110,000, based on consideration of a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, education and certifications, competitive benchmarks, scope of responsibility, market dynamics, geographic location, and respective state’s salary threshold for exempt employees. Pay ranges are subject to change and are based on specific market medians for similar jobs according to third-party salary benchmark surveys. Individual pay within that range can vary due to skills, experience, and available budget.
