As Director of Sales, North America, you will have direct influence over revenue performance, go-to-market execution, and team development across a diverse customer base that includes federal, state and local agencies, as well as enterprise organizations. You will work closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to shape sales strategy, improve execution, and scale a distributed team in a technically complex market. The Role The Director of Sales, North America is responsible for regional revenue performance across public and private sector markets. This role carries direct accountability for forecasting accuracy, pipeline health, and team productivity. You will lead, develop, and manage a team of sales professionals while collaborating with Sales Engineering, Marketing, Channel Partners, and Executive Leadership to drive consistent results. This position is well suited for a sales leader who is comfortable managing long sales cycles, complex buying committees, and technical solutions, while maintaining a disciplined, metrics-driven approach to execution. What You Will Do • Own and drive North American revenue performance across enterprise and public sector customers • Lead, coach, and develop a distributed sales team, including performance management and talent development • Build and maintain accurate forecasts and pipeline visibility, providing clear insights to executive leadership • Partner with Channel Partners including VARs and MSPs to expand market reach and improve partner productivity • Support complex sales efforts through executive engagement, customer meetings, demos, and proofs of concept • Develop strong cross-functional alignment with Sales Engineering, Marketing, Training, and Operations • Stay current on competitive dynamics, market trends, and customer needs to inform strategy and execution What We’re Looking For • 7 to 10+ years of sales experience, with multiple years in sales leadership roles • Proven success leading teams that sell complex, technical solutions with extended sales cycles • Experience selling into enterprise, government, or regulated environments • Demonstrated ability to consistently exceed revenue targets and improve forecast accuracy • Strong consultative selling and executive communication skills • Experience managing and enabling Channel Partners as part of a broader go-to-market strategy • Comfort operating in a remote, distributed team environment • Ability to quickly understand and communicate technical products in a clear, credible way What Success Looks Like Success in this role is measured by sustained revenue growth, forecast accuracy, team development, and the ability to build durable customer and partner relationships.
