Design, develop, and maintain SharePoint and web environments ensuring accessibility and SEO compliance while supporting automation and software lifecycle management.
Bachelor's degree plus four years or seven years relevant experience, proficiency in Microsoft Power Platform, SQL, Python, web architecture, and U.S. citizenship required.
In this role, you will perform tasks related to designing, developing, modernizing, and maintaining SharePoint, Internet, and Intranet websites in support of program operations, including conducting website assessments and developing management plans, templates, and mockups for new and existing sites. Establish and maintain website user groups and access permissions, perform website coding, and prepare content for posting in compliance with Section 508 accessibility standards, style guides, and copyright/release documentation requirements for media and photos. Monitor website performance across accessibility, quality assurance, and search engine optimization (SEO), and support transition of website maintenance when required. Your responsibilities will span across multiple stages of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), requiring a hands-on approach to problem-solving, architecture, and innovation. Additionally, you will provide technical expertise in areas such as information systems architecture, networking, telecommunications, automation, risk management, software lifecycle management. This is a hybrid position. Key Responsibilities: * Assess, design, develop, modernize, and maintain SharePoint, Internet, and Intranet websites supporting program operations. * Evaluate existing website content, usability, branding, messaging, layout, navigation, and standardization and recommend improvements. * Develop website management plans, templates, mockups, and standardized site structures for new and existing websites. * Establish and maintain SharePoint user groups, access permissions, navigation, content, and site functionality. * Develop and maintain forms, workflows, and automated processes using Microsoft Power Automate and PowerApps. * Perform website development and coding and support integration with SQL, Power BI, and related Microsoft technologies as required. * Prepare and maintain website content in accordance with Section 508 accessibility requirements, applicable VA style standards, metadata requirements, and copyright/release requirements. * Monitor and improve website accessibility, quality assurance, usability, and search engine optimization. * Troubleshoot website and automation issues and recommend improvements, enhancements, and maintenance actions. * Develop technical and administrative documentation and support knowledge transfer and transition of website maintenance responsibilities Minimum Qualifications: * U.S. citizenship * BA/BS degree + four years of relevant experience relevant experience. Note: three years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for BA/BS degree. * Experience with Microsoft Power Automate, Microsoft PowerApps, and a full suite of applications related to automation. * Experience with both Structure Query Language (SQL) and Power BI. * Experience with Server Management Studio (SSMS)/Azure Data Studio (ADS)/Tool for Oracle Application Developers (TOAD), Server Integration Services (SSIS), Server Reporting Services (SSRS), Power Automate, and Python. * Deep technical understanding of Web and Website development activities, with experience in platform architecture, development, and optimization. * Strong expertise in information systems architecture, telecommunications, automation, and software lifecycle management. * Problem-solving and analytical skills to address complex technical challenges. * Excellent communication and leadership skills to guide teams and stakeholders effectively.
