Solutions Engineer - Attribution Solutions Department: Tourism Economics US Employment Type: Full Time Location: Philadelphia, US Description Tourism Economics (TE), a global leader in travel-sector analytics is seeking an exceptional Solutions Engineer, Attribution Solutions to join our fast-growing Attribution Solutions division. This role sits at the intersection of data, technology, client success, and economic storytelling—supporting some of the most innovative and influential organizations in the global tourism ecosystem. Our clients include city, regional, state, and national destination marketing organizations; leading industry associations; and major travel brands and operators. We maintain deep, long-term relationships across the industry through subscription-based platforms, recurring engagements, and highly consultative analytical services. This role is ideal for someone who is energized by solving problems, translating data into meaning, enhancing customer experiences, and helping organizations clearly understand the value of their marketing efforts. You will play a foundational role in delivering accurate, timely, and high-impact attribution insights that guide critical decisions for destinations around the world. Key Responsibilities Client Management & Customer Experience • Serve as a primary point of contact for Attribution Solutions clients, ensuring a best-in-class experience from onboarding through ongoing delivery. • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships rooted in trust, responsiveness, and proactive communication. • Understand each client’s goals, challenges, marketing strategies, and success metrics—consulting with them on how attribution can optimize performance and strengthen ROI. • Conduct monthly or quarterly (depending on client) client review meetings, providing clear insights, recommendations, and next steps. • Ensure all deliverables meet high standards for accuracy, clarity, and timeliness. Solution Delivery & Technical Support • Guide clients through onboarding, setup, and implementation of attribution solutions, ensuring a seamless and confident adoption process. • Troubleshoot and resolve attribution-related technical issues quickly and efficiently, minimizing client disruption and preserving trust. • Collaborate closely with internal data science, engineering, and product teams to ensure clients are receiving maximum value from their solutions. • Translate data and methodologies into simple, actionable, and client-friendly explanations. Data Analysis & Insight Development • Review and analyze account-level attribution results monthly, transforming findings into actionable insights that drive client decisions. • Partner with clients to interpret visitor trends, marketing influence, and economic outcomes, linking attribution insights directly to real-world impact. • Provide ongoing strategic and tactical guidance on optimizing attribution models, improving campaign evaluation, and enhancing future performance. Process Development & Operational Excellence • Contribute to the development of standardized Attribution Solutions processes, documentation, and best practices. • Coordinate cross-functional timelines, anticipate risks, and escalate blockers where needed to safeguard quality and delivery. • Play an active role in scaling the Attribution Solutions division—improving workflows, enhancing reporting, and supporting continued product evolution. What You’ll Deliver (Key Outputs) • Successful client onboarding and attribution solution implementation. • Comprehensive monthly or quarterly (depending on client) client updates, including insights, recommendations, and strategic guidance. • Timely troubleshooting and resolution of client issues with exceptional customer service. • Clear, concise reporting and communication of insights to internal and external audiences. • Documented best practices, technical processes, and support materials to enhance operational efficiency and client experience. Skills, Knowledge & Expertise Required Experience & Skills • 2+ years with tourism-related, marketing-related, or geolocation/economic data. • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the talent to turn complex data into clear, actionable insights. • Experience presenting findings and reporting to both internal and external stakeholders. • Excellent writing, communication, and organizational skills, exceptional attention to detail. • Self-starter with a proactive mindset—anticipate needs, take initiative, and follow through. • Customer-service mindset and passion for helping clients succeed. Preferred Experience • Familiarity with digital advertising, marketing attribution, economic impact analysis, or tourism analytics. • Experience supporting or implementing analytical tools, dashboards, or reporting platforms.
